Ali Richmond
Ali Richmond is a BC-trained RMT with a diploma in Registered Massage Therapy from Langara College (2017). She tailors treatments to each client’s needs, using deep fascial release, neuromuscular therapy, Swedish massage and joint mobilization.
Ali has focused training in working with scar tissue, the female pelvis, and post-surgical care for breast and chest procedures. She values a collaborative approach, supporting clients in exploring various therapies and homecare strategies to lead a strong, pain-free life.
Before founding Townsite Allied Health in Powell River, Ali practiced at a leading physiotherapy and massage clinic in Whistler, gaining experience with athletes, post-surgical rehabilitation, concussion management, pregnancy massage, and more.
Outside of massage therapy, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, skiing, biking, reading and birdwatching—and recently embarked on her greatest adventure yet: becoming a mom of three.
Chelsea Keays
Chelsea was born and raised in Powell River and moved home in 2022 with her family. She graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2009. She worked in a multidisciplinary clinic in Vancouver for many years and then in her own home-based practice in Prince Rupert, BC.
Chelsea treats a wide range of clients, from people suffering with acute injuries to people looking for relaxation. She has focused her continuing education on fascial, craniosacral and visceral treatment, and incorporates these elements into her work.
Chelsea works part-time at massage and part-time at raising children and caring for the garden that her grandma, aunts and uncles, parents and brother have all worked in for decades.
Taylor Sbrocchi
Taylor is an RMT who brings a compassionate, evidence-based approach to every treatment. She is dedicated to helping people feel more at ease in their bodies, whether they are recovering from injury, managing ongoing pain, or simply looking for space to relax and restore balance. With additional training in yoga, fascia work, and scar tissue therapy, Taylor draws on a wide range of skills to create treatments that support both immediate relief and long-term well-being. Her approach is thoughtful, and responsive, focused on meeting each person where they are and working together toward their healthcare goals.
Taylor is a graduate of Sutherland Chan. After building her practice in BC, Taylor relocated briefly to Ontario and is excited to continue her seven-year career in Powell River. She looks forward to welcoming new clients and sharing her passion for helping people move with greater ease, reduce pain, and feel more at home in their bodies.
Tonya Motyka
Tonya graduated from the 3000 hour program at the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in 2003. She had a home-based practice in Squamish until 2025 when she and her husband and their dogs moved to Powell River.
Tonya treats using a combination of deep tissue massage, fascial release, and various other techniques. She assesses and treats each patient according to how they present and what their treatment goals are. She has participated in many sports, most notably climbing, mountain biking, and powerlifting, and loves applying her knowledge of how people move and their patterns of restriction to her practice.
